Well, not with jewelcrafting proper, but with its sister skill, prospecting. It’s easy, and its one of my best gold secrets . Check your auction house for a few days to find out when ore sells cheapest, or make a deal with a miner on your server to offload all his ore to you in bulk for a discount. Get as much ore as you want, and prospect it. Cut the gems and sell them on the auction house for a profit. Once you work out your average earnings per stack of ore, you can easily work out how much you can afford to pay, and any time there’s a stack for under that price, you can prospect it for quick gold.
